Channels and words you block here are hidden everywhere on YouTube: home, search, the sidebar next to a video, subscriptions and Shorts shelves.

Blocked channels 0

No blocked channels yet. On YouTube, hover a video and press Block channel, or use the button on a channel page.

Blocked keywords 0

A video is hidden when its title or channel name contains the word. Not case-sensitive; works in any language. “Whole word” skips matches inside longer words (“cat” will not hide “category”).

TubeBlock is on

Turn off to see YouTube unfiltered. Your lists are kept.

Hide Shorts

Removes Shorts shelves, the Shorts entry in the left menu and Shorts in search and subscriptions. Opening a /shorts/ link shows a button to watch it as a normal video.

PIN lock

No PIN set. Anyone using this browser can change the lists.

The PIN stops casual changes (for example by kids). It is not strong security: someone who can remove extensions can remove TubeBlock. If you forget the PIN, remove and reinstall the extension (lists are lost unless you exported them).

Backup

Export your channels, keywords and switches to a JSON file, or import a file you exported before. The PIN is never exported.
